Christmas was wonderful this year! As Arlo would say, "Who just could not like our pretty tree?" We celebrated Christmas Eve at our house with lots of family and lots of great food (thanks Grandmas!) Evelyn and I made the green rice and meatballs, while Arlo played outside with Benson & Isaac for the day at Grandma and Grandpa Morse's. By the time we got to church, Arlo was pretty tired and very concerned about who was handing out the treats...? He forged on and was ready to go once we got home to the party (with mini hot-dogs, as promised)
Christmas morning, Arlo woke up and found a fish tank from Santa in his and Evelyn's room... Arlo yelled, "MOOOOOM!!! LOOK!! Someone knew I must have wanted one of these!!!!!" Mom, "I wonder why it has a Santa hat on top of it?" Arlo's jaw dropped and a look of complete shock and recognition of the day came over him... he turned and ran towards the tree, "WOOOOOOOOOOW!! Santa Came!!!" This year, Arlo definitely understood the concept of opening gifts!
It was the year of Hot Wheels and Zu Zu pets for Arlo, among lots of other things, including his requested Singing Christmas Tree and beloved Buzz Light Year pajamas!!
It was a great holiday, thank you everyone for making it so special and in so many ways!!
