This is what Arlo kept saying after we took the tree down. We had a great first Christmas in our new home and really enjoyed the time together. We got to spend time with both Grandma and Grandpas, Uncle Chris, Uncle DuWayne, Aunt Corinna and Grace, Cole, Beck, the Haydens, and Unlce Jess (Arlo's third Grandpa) and Aunt Barb. We missed not seeing the family in Chicago this year and our family in Vermont - but we were thinking of them a lot!
Arlo was a little hesitant opening the presents when he would start to rip the paper he would look and say, "no?" to make sure it was ok (what a good boy!) He got TONS of great gifts and we had a blast watching him play with all his new things. It truly was a great day!
Here is Arlo in his velvet smoking jacket on Christmas Eve, opening a gift, pushing his new shopping cart, sitting on his new bike (double thumbs up - Alright!) and sitting in his gigantic ball pit from his cousins... Thanks to everyone for all the great Christmas gifts and Happy New Year!

You can guess, I am sure, how many times your names were mentioned in Chicago...everyone understands but of course missed you lots.
I am so glad to hear it was a great one for you all. Santa certainly knew Arlo was a very good boy this year! Sarah had a shopping cart just like that (we called it her "bookmobile", so as not to brand her as a shopper from early on...the funny things new parents do!) She got hers from Aunt Di and Uncle Doug for her 1st b-day. Tell Arlo that Blanky will LOVE rides in it!

These pictures are a great keepsake of the wonderful Christmas spent with all of you in your home - which truly was a winter wonderland. It was such a near perfect holiday, only missing Katy and PJ.
